multiple tunes

Just noticed you are from Tulsa pipeline. There is another member, Caskey, from your area (south of T town) running buddy 4 banger (he and I had prototypes and have both gotten re flashes and been smiling ear to ear each time.

Caleb (Caskey) is going to school in gymon OPSU at the moment. He should be back your way for the holidays, look him up get him to show off a bit. He worries about his poor low mile rig lol.

I'd love to do that man. I actually was born and raised in Louisiana, but my wife is from here so I moved. I'd love to see what one is actually supposed to run like for sure!

I'll bet alot of you reading this thread can figure out what I'm thinking without any delay at all... In fact, I'd venture to say there are several others thinking along the same track as me.

I'm pretty sure I'm right there with you.

I still wish he would come back and be a supporting vendor here.

So do I, Leroy. However, fact of the mattter is, Tom feels he should be able to use this forum to compete with our paying vendors - guys like you - without also being a paying vendor.

That ain't right. It would be comparable to him setting up a table inside a Performance shop, where they had paid for the lease, the lights, the heat, the parking lot, and selling his wares while taking advantage of their facility, without paying them anything for using that space.

I don't think we should give him - or anyone else - this space for free; We owe you and the other site vendors more than that, and I want the people who are helping him to circumvent the site rules to consider that fact. For a place that talks redneck trash all the time about how people shouldn't get 'Obama phones', 'handouts', or 'something for nothing', being able to hold that double standard just amazes me.

This isn't about not liking Tom. I like Tom. I like how he gets involved in discussions, how he helps others out, how he pushes the edge on some ideas, etc. I get the feeling you like those things, also.

You'll note that we still allow discussion about Tom's OBD-I chip here, (for those interested, KOJO makes an OBD-II Multi-Tune PCM), where that discussion might be censored or deleted elsewhere.

This is about one issue, and one issue only; selling stuff here without being a vendor, as clearly communicated in the site rules.

Without our vendors, this site doesn't exist; we don't charge them much, we don't make profit on this, but we do need to pay for server, software, and bandwith, and we're greatful to you and the other vendors for paying for this space for us to play.

I hope this clarifies our position, and that our members can respect this stance.

What he said. We don't hate him, but we do not appreciate his ethics of how he does his business dealings. I don't agree with everything he says, but he does make some good points, and I feel he could be a very valueable asset here. It was a shame he took the stance he did with the site, and I find it very peculiar how some of the same people who chased another person all over the internet for peddling his products in PM's and violating site rules was ridiclued so deeply, yet they opened him with open arms to sell in PM and argued that a special exception should be made for him. I will leave it at that.

I think i speak for many when I say I appreciate the open discussion. I understand and agree about paying to be a vendor. But it also is a product that no other vendor here offers (that I am aware of). My favorite part of these forums is being able to share information with others who share the same passion. So thanks for allowing us to do so. Unlike some other sites......

X2 Thanks for allowing the discussion and I am also glad to hear that kojo came up with a obd2 multi stage, I might be interested in that one of these days.

I think were all in agreement.
I think soon someone will be coming with a multi stage chip anyway or atleast I hope so and there is a suprizingly big maket for it.

Kojo can do OBD1 multi tunes, he knows how to do the OBD2 as well. I'm not sure if he is comfortable doing the OBD2 though as he said the mother board has to be reworked.
