metal cutting chop saws

The carbide blades for AL have a reverse rake to the teeth to eliminate digging in and grabbing. However, I have used regular wood cutting carbide blades, just like you. You just need to be aware of the grabbing tendencies. Using metal cap and cove for laminate tops is almost a thing of the past, but a carbide blade makes cleaner and better cuts for the joints, as long as you can keep the blade from grabbing and ruining the trim.
