Delvac is the stuff, no question. One hang up... it doesn't meet the almighty VW 507.00 spec for the CR engines (higher phosphorous and sulfur, 1.0% ash vs the .6 in the VW spec, higher viscosity). The M-1 5W30 ESP does, but it shows higher wear averages and is spent by the time the 10k interval rolls around.
These engines like to dilute the oil with fuel from the regens. People using bio have shown 2 and 3% fuel dilution as well as higher wear because the bio has a higher boiling point than #2.
