Have you tried advancing the pump any yet? The 93- have to be manually set for the initial timing as they are fully mechanical injection. They adjust similiar to the Ds pumps, but there is no TDC offset to go by with them.

Mebby the IP timing is off a bit,are the timing marks lined up?
You could turn the IP a mm or so to the pass side to advance it a bit.

Fuel flow is plenty IMO,but you should measure it at the IP inlet, there is where it counts

Where did the squirts come from, what brand?
Are you sure you did'nt get a IP for a 6.2 instead.

I am pretty sure that it is a 6.5 injection pump. The Injectors are Bosch from the same company. So if you turn the pump to the Pass side it will advance. I thought it is to the driver side to advance. We put it dead on with the mark that is there already.

I just might try that to. I think that it might need to be turned up a bit so me and him are going to turn it up a 1/8 of a turn.

Towards the driver side advances it.

I think Bison was thinking of them right hand drive European versions. He is correct though for the 6.9/7.3 International/Navistar/Ford IDI engines(passenger side advance).

He did finally send me a working one but it took forever. That's the one that the shop that tested it said was a used take out.

First pump I couldn't get it to start finally got it to run with lots of wd40 and a touch of ether once it cleaned up it didn't idle real smooth and the only time it ran ok was wot. Took it to the pump shop and they said the cold advance was messed up and they wouldn't even test it any further.
