loping tune for 6.5

well since there not many 6.5 owners willing to spend a lot of money on there rides like some select groups of cummins, dmax, and powerstroke owners i guess we will probably never have switchable tunes unless we get someone who is willling to possibly to lose money. then again is our computer even capable of that?

i have my music up enough that i rarely hear my idle. i do have a stock exhaust system though. im kinda surprised no one has asked this before.

Bwahahahaha....

Sorry kiddies....didn't mean to offend your toys...:rolleyes5:

HAHA, we were all 16 once...in my day it was flipping the cover on the air breather, and dreaming about chrome reverse wheels...now it's diesel trucks, stacks and loping idle...it's something they will grow out of and laugh about, later...

Yup, I remember that.:smile5:

Kinda like turbo whine

I knew someone would see the sense of humour....have to have been around longer than the young'uns I suppose...

My stupidity was racing down gravel roads in my old Camaro....one wrong bump and it could have all been over I suppose...LOL!

gotta have the coolest truck in the high school parking lot. ha ha

That would have been me had mom and dad not bought one kid an 04 HPCR Cummins CC/SB.):h):h

Too bad most of the school parking lots have kids driving beat up Honda's with Fart Cans. All I can say to that is being able to blow smoke is a wonderful thing :D

if you want a lopey idle do the high idle mod and flip the switch really fast.

ROFL! Now that's funny, right there!

A 67 CamaroRS with a 327-4v and a 3/4 cam loping in a parking lot is cool...

A 6.5TD ? ... uhhh, not so much. A diesel truck that isn't running smooth is a diesel truck that desperately needs mechanical attention.

Cool is most DEFINITELY in the eye of the beholder. Maybe that's why the street kids like the fart cans on Hondas so much. Personally, I have a Honda, and there's just no damn way I'd ever put a fart can on it.

i didnt have the coolest truck in highschool but i sure wanted to have. in highschool i drove a 92 k2500LD 3/4 350 5speed 4X4 would still have it but my brother wrecked it driving drunk. i did have one of the very few trucks in the parking lot at my highschool and that truck went more places off road then the other guys who had "cooler" trucks ie: big lifts and tires. alot depends on the driver

it is in the eye of the beholder. btw since when did a 327 have 4 valves per cylinder. you wote 327-4v

Back in the olde days, we had things on vehicles called carbeuretors...

A 2-v carb was a 2-barrel, a 4-v was a 4-barrel... not 4x45 gallons, either.

The technical term is Rochester Quadrajet (stock) or Holley Double-Pumper. (ooooh... coool)

You had to rebuild them on a fairly regular basis...

Those of you guys who don't understand about Diesel loping... I guess you old guys never get out and go to events? That would be my guess anyways lol. The Diesel lope we are talking about sounds nothing like a lope you would hear from a gas engine, that lope just BA... Diesel lope just sounds cool :p.

its actually not really a lope... more of a rolling idle, like the old 2 strokers had when cold.
