My 94 cranks longer when "kinda" warm ,than when cold.When i plug the block heater in, it cranks longer than when its not plugged in.

I have no history on this truck,could the timing be off? It is my understanding that the coolant temp sensor advances timing when its cold.
 
Sounds kinda like the injectors are bleeding off you'd think it would be worse cold though. Might try pouring water on the ip and see if that helps.
 
It could be that the temp sensor is telling the puter that the truck is warm, so you are not getting the cold advance and enough glow time. Try unplugging the temp sensor when the truck is "kinda warm" and see if that makes a difference. If so, you could rig a switch onto that and be able to control from the cab.....
