Listen to this

It is a gm4 i belive and its a 3 inch down pipe to a 4 inch elbow, im looking into getting a bigger turbo, before i drop a cummins in it soon, i bet you the 6.5 would scream but its getting pulled this summer

Well thanks for posting this. I was plannig on doing the same thing to my truck. Just didn't know what it would sound like. Now I do and I like it.

when i get another camera i will post another vid but, you can hear the turbo all the time, and i see heads turn alot when they hear that turbo

I put on a DiamondEye exhaust(3.5" DP and 4" pipe) with a Warpspeed 2.5" crossover and filmed it three years ago. Have to agree the whistle was very enticing, but didn't see much of any power increase. Did see EGTs drop. It is filmed from the front and then from the tailpipe. Have a look/hear:

Nice video.

My '96 has the gm5 and sounds almost exactly the same, whistles like crazy.

I got a new turbo on the way for my truck, its an hx40wII same as racedaymechanic. Im hoping that will whistle even more.

Chevy3500, are you talking about the gm5? Igot it from a guy who lives near me but its the same model turbo that was on my truck from factory.

The turbo dumps into a diamond eye 3in dp into 4in straight pipe exiting infront on rear tire.

I did not get it yet, its in the mail. I bought it from an ebay seller. Same seller and turbo that "racedaymechanic" is running and i think another member here by the name "piliow" is also running it. Basically a copy of a holset turbo, but not a genuine holset
