Getting my build done slowly but surely. I'm at the point of installing the lifters. The book says to soak them in diesel or kerosene and use the rod to plunger the lifter to prime it. They have been soaking in diesel for about 24 hours and they barely move. How have you guy's done them?

I need to read the manual- but I am 99% sure the soak in diesel and plunge is to clean and purge out the old clumped oil. Then after doing that, you are supposed to soak in oil and pump them up- making sure they pump up to proper function.
