Lift pump question

I swapped out the fuel pump relay and the lp pressurizes with the key again. I still need to stick the guage to the windshield and check pressure under load. I'm gonna install a permanemt fp guage in the cab as well. I just don't know where to install it, as the pillar is full.

This is good spot for a 1 1/2" gauge ,..it's in my wife's 98

Mine never runs after I turn the key off and I suspect from what I hear it's merely PCM telling the LP to run for 2-3 seconds.
