I have washed rope and have some rope in a 5 gallon bucket of water mixed with fabric softener right now.

Do you know any spray on product that works or good for solid braid dock lines that keeps them soft?

Super Slick Slick stuff wasn't bad but still maybe a little film. It did help lube up some knots to make them easier to undo.

Next I want to try some car interior cleaner that is not suppose to leave a shine or residue of oily feeling.

Regular old Stoddard, parts, cleaning solvent removes oily stuff and dries without residue. If that's not available then BBQ lighter fuel is the exact same stuff. They both dry odorless. Just dont try using the recycled Stoddard solvent, that stuff stinks terrible bad, almost as bad as old rotten gasoline.
Another thing that dries odorless and leaves no trace is mineral spirits paint thinner that is easily obtainable from any hardware or paint store.
