nice, mine is 4in into the air box. what size is that you used? pulls air right from the stock location just less area and bends for the air to travel through
 
Looks good Bruce, I had one set up using the bat tray on driver side with the Isuzu swap. I probably would have used bat tray on pass side this time, but I had removed it after relocating bat's (out of site out of mind). For anyone without the fab skills or source for the carbon fiber inlet like you used the Isuzu boot/seal fits the hole perfectly and converts it to a 4" round hole.
 
Leroy, do you happen to have the model truck and part # for that Isuzu turbo intake boot?
 
Was going to use a gromet, but it fit great just poping 2 holes in the silicone. One less thing to fail too.

Did you use a drill? Sorry for the simple question. I've tried several fittings with moderate success, none really satisfying. I have now officially tired of washing and oiling the S&B filter and want a ram air mod. I was looking at small hot rod style hood scoops too.
