I ordersd the kit from Rockauto and it does not have the large O-ring. Napa could not match and said it was a dealer part. Is that correct?

When mine was leaking, I bought a oil filter JUST for the rubber ring , popped it off (gently) .... and it worked,,,,leak gone

Email Leroy and see if he could overnight one for you. Look on his site for his email.

I've ordered plenty of stuff from Leroy and always happy with the service, but his shipping prices are ridiculous. I will get it from the dealer.

$6-9 to send 4x4 seal kit Priority mail to CA is ridiculous. If you had ordered from me you'd have all the correct parts now and not had to post that and another bonus you'd be supporting a small business that helps support this page and the 6.5 community.

Well, seeing as USPS does not work on Sundays which is when I was doing the work......$6 priority mail would work, but I just remember paying $30 shipping for a $40 stainless exhaust tip. IMO that is ridiculous.

OK processed the order with Leroy. I have no doubt these can fit into the $6.85 USPS Priority Mail Box.....and the charge for that was $9.00, which confirmed my point on the shipping. They better arrive by Friday as I need the truck to tow my boat for phase 2 of the repower: engine bracket and engine install.

Dude so am I supposed to charge you $6.85 for shipping! Your not taking into account PayPal fees and other expenses to get this mailed out. If you think my shipping charges are to high then don't buy! And if you are giving me an ultimatum in saying "they better" get there by a certain date then I'll just refund you. I have no control over USPS timing and after this Hurricane they might be slow.

First off, you were the one who said I would already have the parts. Second I paid by credit card, so your cost would be the credit card fee which is about 3%.

I don't use PayPal. They suck. Had fraud on my account and they want to link it to a bank account. Given the fraud experience, might as well link everything I have to the Nigerian Prince's account.

If you don't accept the order, fine. I'll get it locally.

Other shipping options that would be guaranteed to make Friday (FedEx) would be more expensive. As you have indicated this isn't an option due to cost and they are available locally I suggest this is a better option. Frankly I burn and hour of my time plus $5.00 or more in diesel to get to a dealer... I have since made other arrangements and the dealer(s) ship to a local shop with their other parts for free. Only because I buy a lot of parts... Dodge dealer ebay division ships stuff and there is a fee.

This said USPS is undependable as hell esp. when you need a part ASAP. You get what you pay for. I don't recall why Leroy doesn't offer FedEx, but, it's irrelevant due to cost constraints anyway. @Burning oil Big T did make it clear he needed it by Friday in the 3rd post so I will take it you are being honest about USPS. If you have other shipping options available for additional cost or whatever it would be good to know. How often does an urgent part need come up?

Needing to run the next day I recall paying a lot of money for a t-stat crossover, 3 trips, and giving them an old part at a junkyard. Just saying you do what you have to do.

Rule #1 in retail: customer is always right. $9 is not $6.85. I was right. I can get this at the dealer with no shipping costs, even if they have to track it down from a warehouse. That is the competition.

No, you said you had ordered from RA. If you had ordered from me instead then you would have had the correct orings already.
Second I said $6-9 (PayPal figures it out).
I'll get it mailed tomorrow as they weren't open today (Labor Day), should be there Thursday/Friday.

RA had a sale and for $2 I took a chance. 2 of the o-rings were matches. It was part of a larger order of parts they were getting rid of, so the shipping cost for the kit was basically nothing. Thank you for shipping the order.

So received the O-ring kit today. I'm ready to install, but are all the o-rings in the kit used? Looks like I got 2 of the large o-rings, 6 or so of the small in varying thickness, plus a copper crush washer. I can only figure out were 3 of the o-rings go, plus the crush washer.

I include all the orings and crush washer for all the years. I think yours is 99? You will use best fitting large oring to seal to block, one small orng on bolt close to threads and medium oring in housing close to head of bolt.
