Just Got Zone 6" Lift Installed

Just Picked the Truck up from the Shop.

Here's how it Looks.

Yes...the Tires are WAY too Small, but I'm Waiting on New Wheels and Bigger Tires to get here. Now is the only Time the Shop could get it done for the next few Weeks.

It def. has a Cali Lean / Bulldog / Shitty Diaper Look to it, but it's not as Pronounced as it Looks in the Pic. Dunno if I wanna keep it like this or not. I'll prob. end up Lifting the Rear more to be Even with the Front.

This is at the Lowest Setting. Torsion Keys are Down as Far as they will go. It could be ALOT Lower in the Front, but I have Green Keys and got it Aligned at this Height, so I really don't wanna put the OE Keys back in then have to get it Re-Aligned.

Ok, it's "Normal" now.

Got the 5" Block out Back now and it's 1/2" Higher in the Rear.

How much lift did you get in front with the green keys in? Jw because I am looking at putting a lift in front to match my big deavers in the rear.

Before getting the Lift Installed, I had my OE Keys Maxxed Out. Put in the Green Keys, and they were even Higher at their Lowest Setting (No Adjustment Bolts at all) than the Maxxed Out OE Keys.

Right now, my Front Tire to Fender Flare Gap (Measured in the Middle with 33" Tall Tires) is 13.25".

So are Green Keys "Worth it"? Absolutely IMO.

They had a Slab of Green Paint Across the Bottom of them.

24x10 with 33's, 305/40/24.

Going to 22x11 with 35's, 325/50/22.

I got the New Wheels AND Tires for LESS than just 35's would have Cost for the 24's...and there is WAY more of a Selection of Bigger Tires for 22's, still for Less than the 35's for the 24's.

Your truck looks good I just don't want the extra. I was thinking of getting a 6in and decrank it to get ~4" to clear my 33s off road and get close to level but keep some rake. Mostly trying to take some stress off the front end parts.

Yea, after Seeing mine how it Sits now, I'm Happy with it, but would have def Swapped the OE Keys In.

When I get the New / Bigger Tires On, I'll See how it Sits. If it's still too High for my Liking, I might just Swap them In to Drop it a lil, and go for another Alignment.

We'll see...

Yeah, Mine looks like a sled puller or drag truck with the rear jacked WAY up (3500# deavers give 5" of lift). I'm not fully cranked yet because I need some new front end parts. I dont think my 33's will clear with the bars fully cranked while I'm off road so I am checking prices to get a decent quality kit on the front instead of rebuilding the whole thing then having to tear it all down to add a lift.

Honestly, the Zone is the Best way to go, or BDS, since they are the same Company. Rancho, Rough Country, ect... are going to give Terrible CV Angles in the Front.

Cognito is wayyyy too Over Rated and because of that, Over Priced. There is absolutely no Reason for it to be as much Money as it is Compared to other Kits with the same amount of Lift. A Few Bucks more, sure, a couple Hundred to $1k more? No way.

Perfect! I was planning to go with BDS, good to know zone is the same company! I wouldnt mind slight cv angles but I am sure with the beating my truck gets the cranked T bar angles are gonna take their toll pretty quick.

Zone and BDS are 13 Minutes away from eachother, if you're WALKING.

Their Instructions are Word-For-Word the same, and they even Use the Same Pictures. Only a few Steps are there on the BDS that aren't there on the Zone because of a couple Parts the BDS comes with instead of the Zone (mostly NTBD Parts, Extra Skid Plate & Brace).

So I dont see a big difference in BDS and Zone looking at pictures. The only thing that confuses me is why the BDS has a 4 1/2" and 7" while zone has a 6". If the BDS has extra support and the extra skid plate in the 7" it might be worth it for me.
