Hello everyone...

My name is Mark Hinkle. While I am pretty new, I've actually been a typical lurker for a good many years. I've followed the DP and now this forum for about 7-8 years now and have worked with Leroy, Dennis, Missy Goodwench and a bit with John Kennedy for my current build in my truck.

I really want to get more involved in this forum and these trucks in general so I made myself put some time aside to finally say hello and in the future try to add to the conversation. I have to say though, with all the knowledge and experience here, I really don't think that I have much to offer, but I'll try.

On that note, as I put my motor project together, I decided to take as many pictures and videos as I could and I plan on writing some articles to put together for a website. I did hours and hours of research (most on this forum) to be able to do the best work that I could and thought it would be nice to have all that info in one place that's easy to navigate to suppliment what we have here. Ther aren't a lot of 6.5 lovers out there and I want to try to help them all I can.

I'm glad to finally speak up and hope I can participate more in the future!

Thanks Will,
I've learned a lot from you and hope I can return the favor.
She ain't too pretty right now (although I finally washed her last fall), but plan on bodywork/paint and some body mods in the future.

Just updated sig.

It's an old worn out NV4500. Soon to be a new rebuilt from Midwest Transmissions with dual Genos garage coolers and Southbend Kevlar clutch.

BTW, I'm trying to figure out how to condense my sig without scrunching all together in one sentence but I haven't figured it out yet.

Welcome!!!

You could just put: A lot of shit from Leroy, Amazon and others, LOL.

Ha! Yeah but I tell you... when I was learning about these things a while back, I went crazy trying to find all the parts that people were talking about. And I loved it when they had them listed out with links to find them.

Welcome. I am a new member also. I just got my very first diesel and it's a 6.5 TD. I am now thinking of buying another. lol
At this point I am not a very avid DIY mechanic when it diesel or gassers. I do hope to learn as much as I can so that I can help other and contribute to the community in the near future. As of know I need to learn. I would love to read your posts about the work you have done and also see your pictures. I think its great that you were able to build your own engine and hope I can be at that skill level in the future.
