I've looked at the 99-02 set, but can't imagine spending the $$ on them. Aside from that, I don't have DRLs anymore (swapped the socket for another parking/turn signal) and the white leds would look stupid being on with the amber ones, nor do i want to customize them.

Yea, I did the Socket Swap on a Kid's 99 1500 for him. Then I got my Truck and went to do it and it wouldn't fit. It's a GM only Socket on the '03+ Trucks. :sad:

I did my friends 07 classic 2500 before I did my 02, also did the taillights so the signal light is also a running light. Just bought sockets at shucks/kragen. They weren't the exact keying, but they fit if you turn them the right way.

Ha, the 3157 Sockets I bought had no chance what-so-ever of Fitting no matter what way I turned them. Not even trying to put them in on an Angle to try and Force them in kinda.

Well...I got 'em! Just Installed them now, and they are actually really nice and BRIGHT.

Here's some Pics of the Install, and no, you don't get "Blinkers on Crack" with them either, even WITH my LED Tail Lights.

Hopefully they'll make some Full LED ones inna few Months. NO Bulbs, only LED's.

The LED's are out there to do it, just gotta get the Reflector Optics correct and you'll be good to go.

The new Lexus LS and Escalade Platinum have LED Headlights.
