Is This Normal? Intake Removed.......

I still would not use one for daily driver use. I know some people were making them work via a shift knob, but I see the Jake's kit uses the internal PSM to do the shifting. So if you have the stock shifter it could become a real pain pulling it back everytime to down shift. Personally I believe and just fixing it. I hope it works out for you, but I have a suspicion that you may end up going with an optishift down the road as full line pressure all the time will make for some REALLY high trans temps, and teh reduced cooler flow because of the maxed PS may get your converter. Now if they offerred a throttle valve type set-up to modulate teh line pressure, it would be a great kit.

pmd moved to remote cooler.

the wrench is what i made to remove the pmd screws without removing ip.
will keep on intake until i can get a cable from leroy. don't know if this one is still good or not.

need to make extension for wiring but no more fuel leak in the valley.

I would leave it in the valley or at least where it won't leak on the exhaust
i almost had a bad moment with fuel leaking in the valley. all it did was leave me in the middle of the road and driveway. could of been a lot worse. no, i am leaving it where it is. valley has no drain and it just pooled, at least between 2-3 inches. all the wires were in it but they will be moved to the outside of intake.
need to get the old heater hose quick connect out without removing the coolant crossover. broke off, guess that's where i was loosing coolant. i'll try to chisel it out of there.

valley drain must be plugged they all have one
i thought the same thing. valley looks deeper than the other block in the shop. i cleaned/poked/scraped/prodded/felt with a screwdriver/wire/scraper/degreaser/finger/towels, everything i could think of. i'll take a pic, there is not one. i will smell/see fuel much sooner where i have it located than where it was.
this is as far as i got today:

AK, found and cleaned out the drain hole, thanks.
almost have it all back together, just need to get a short piece of heater hose. tomorrow i will try to start it.
