I haven't driven the suburban in a month or so and I started it up and I'm not sure if the noise is normal or not. My other newer diesel is quiet so I'm not sure if I'm hearing something or not. I have 2 videos. One from the the top and one from the passenger side in the wheel well.

I know the audio doesn't do justice from being there in person, but that really doesn't sound any different than my two egg beater trucks. does it change or get loud like a rod or something as RPM increases?

Not really. Like I said, I'm used to driving a newer quiet diesel. What made me think is a guy who also drives a newer diesel said it sounds like it has a knock. I thought it sounded normal but I started second guessing myself. Anyone else want to post your sound for comparison?
