I don't have much in the way of air flow even with a new blower motor. Is there a cabin air filter that I can R&R? If so, where? '99 3500 CC

'99 3500 is the older body style. I don't believe they ever had cabin air filters. If the baffle isn't working right, or fell apart, it could be directing air to every single vent, floor, defrost. Air flow wouldn't feel like much then. Does the fan sound like it's working like it should?

Or if you bought an aftermarket blower motor that you have to wire, it could be backwards and the airflow is really low with it spinning in reverse.

You can definetly hear the van motor at various speeds. I can also feel varying amounts of air coming out the vents based on fan speeds but it just seems "weak". Thats why I thought there might be a plugged filter somewhere.

I'd bet your evaporator core is plugged up, dirt, hair, dust, etc
can cover the fins and block the airflow - mine was really bad when
I changed it, it's like I put 2 more speeds on the fan. :D

It was about a 10-12 hour job to change it for me.
Got to remove the dash (or at least drop it) to access it.
Mine had a leak, I put up with the low airflow for a long time.

Guess I need to find those pictures same offer I made Big Blue Chevy PM me we can exchange #s, it's not a fun job at all

Not sure what offer you made him, but no, not much fun - I don't think
it can really be cleaned without removing it either, and IF you go to
that much trouble, you may as well be safe and replace it (and the heater core too)

Ok, so I'm taking it that there is indeed an air filter somewhere? And its 10-12 hours to get to? What were the engineers thinking? Anyone have a step by step to get this done?
