Is it worth it?

too bad it doesnt have power windows, and a few hundred bucks may be able to patch up the seats. Its something youll have to spend a few thousand in modifications to get it really good after buying. PMD remote mount, whole exhaust, PCM reflash, FTB and LP upgrade. And those are for reliability as well as performance. Thats with any stock 6.5TD though.

I stumbled on this add. It's a 97 extended cab, long box 3/4ton... but at $8500 it would be a much better buy just looking at the pictures. Of course, I like black. Not real keen on red cloth seats, but that would be better than vinyl. Take a look, picutures look nice anyway! Wyndmere is in the SE part of North Dakota. I don't know the guy. I wonder what a guy would let 'er go for?
