IP replacement and timing questions

it does seem to run a bit better, a little bit more responsive. I have a GLE coming and need to put in the turbomaster I have, then I'm done messing around until I get home. One thing I noticed, and its very hard to explain, but under a load at low RPM's like going up a hill, there was a weird sound like one of the cyl's wasnt firing completely. It was very subtle, and now that seems to be gone. the desired and measured are the same. do another test run in the morning.

My big thing is, I want to make it home with a bit more power and not have to worry (much) that something is going to fail and strand me. My biggest concern before I replaced the IP was that it was on borrowed time, as I had to dump water on it to get it to start.
