Injectors to head gaskets ??

If a mechanic is tearing the motor apart to change the injectors or injector cups how much MORE work would it be from there to:

1... change the head bolts to studs ???

OR

2.... take the heads off and change the head gaskets, and then the studs ???


Are we talking an extra 2 hours of R&R stuff to do the head bolts or an extra 8 hours to R&R the heads...any one been down this road and have any hindsight ??
