Injector pump timing?

Rodd, your numbers were normal, you mistakingly said 88.5 when it was actually -0.88 TDCO. And the timing you see is not base timing when running. The PCM advances the timing when operating the engine. Base timing is what is seen at time set, and thats what the 3.5 degrees is referring to.

12 degrees is normal PCM advance when warming up and it should slowly come back to 8-9 degrees.

You are right buddy. It was -.88. The actual timing in time set mode was 7.5.
 
You can easily make the wrench. I actually did that then bought them later on. Get a Craftsman club 15 mm double box. Heat and bend it in asemi circle. As far as turning tool take two short 3/8 bolts and stick them in the holes(just stick , not threaded) that the tool would go in and use a prybar between the bolts. .
