Hi. I just purchased my first diesel, a crisp 98 Z71 6.5 with 230,000kms. I need to pull a 26' fifth wheel RV. I have been looking for a great forum for info and this is definately it. I have already performed a snorkelectomy and built a cold air intake with a K&N filter. Opened up the air intake, and need to find the right exhaust. I am looking for efficiency with performance. Is anyone using a Frantz TP oil filter, or a Browns Gas hydrolyzer? Just looking for advice to avoid pricey trial and error.

Welcome.

I'm in BC Canada and got a Diamond Eye 4" turbo back exhaust (3" down pipe) from an ebay retailer (treasurevalleydiesel) for about 450 bucks, all in, after shipping and ups charges for my 98.

Best deal I've found so far.

Fits great!

I find it's is a bit loud when you stomp on it. But it's a 4 inch "glass pack" muffler that comes with it.

The pipes are aluminized steel, the muffler is stainless.

Shipping was lightning quick. Took about a week.

Brown's gas? Hydrolizer?

If you're looking to avoid expensive trial and error, don't get one.

Oh yeah;

Welcome to TTS!
