Someone mentioned DEKA in the past. Made by Eastern Penn in the USA! They have AGM (absorbed glass mat) dual purpose battery that is completely spillproof and leakproof for your roughest off-road adventures and provides added protection for sophisticated electronic equipment.

These are awesome batteries. We're a dealer at work; their better series of batteries consistently outperforms the best Deere batteries, often at half the cost.
 
Are any of you guys putting in dual post (batteries with both top and side mount terminals) batteries when you replace them? I hate the side post and it makes it pain it you ever have to jump another vehicle or add anything electrical wise to the battery.
 
all my replacement batteries over the last 8 1/2 years have been dual post(terminal) for that very reason...
