Impressive to me ATS 6.2 turbo

Dan, There was a bad batch of turbo housings, I would call to see if yours was one of them. My 98 will hit 15lbs no problem

You know, all this ATT talk in the 6.2 section where it doesn't apply is sickening.

The fella wants to know about his ATS turbo setup, not the stupid ATT!!!

ATS Information:

82-87 Kit has the turbo mounted above the valve cover via a rather large exhaust manifold. I've run one of these setups, and another one has wound up in my posession which has led to me to learn a few things about them.

The first kit I had; had the T04B turbo on it, I don't have compressor specs on it though. But I do on the exhaust. Same P-Trim wheel used on the Banks setup, very common. The turbine housing was (on my good spooling kit) a .84 A/R non wastegated on center 4-bolt outlet housing. The second kit I got has the T04B .96 A/R turbine housing, will probably perform as laggy as the Banks kit does with the 1.00A/R.

I'd wager you have the .84 in your kit. May have to turn down the fuel a bit or swap to another housing.

J
