Well, I think I sold the Tahoe. Guys coming up from NC tommorw to buy it. as my New Dodge sits at the Dealer with numerous issues I ask myself..Self..Did I do the right thing ?
Probably not. I told him about the forum. :sad:Still got the 2000...

no

that's backwards. the 2000 was supposed to sell and the tahoe was supposed to say.

I know. I actually have to go put the plates from the Tahoe on the 2000 cause I need it to drive. I'm gonna miss that truck. It was always a head turner. You don't know how many times people asked "That truck is a diesel ??".

Kenny, if your second guessing yourself somethings not right with this situation. You said yourself you always wanted a 2 dr tahoe w/ a 6.5TD. If i were you i'd call off the sale, before it's too late.

I have wrestled with this for some time but unfortunatley when you get married and have kid/dogs etc the toys gotta go. Having two trucks of the same vintage is just too much to maintain along with two oil trucks besides. The pickup wasn't good for family and the Tahoe is no good for work. The ext cab can do both. Since I started my business back up I just don't have time to play with the stuff. Hopefully I'll get the CUCV for wood season.

I'd sell the 2000 and keep the tahoe personally. The CUCV will be a fun truck. If your missing the Tahoe before it's even sold, it's just going to get worse when you watch it drive away.

I' ve had the dodge in my sig for 41 years. I would sell my wife before I sold that. It is not easy to replace rare objects. Take em' to the grave!

No trans is being fixed under warranty as well as the Injector pump

Kenny it sounds like the dodge isn't going to nickle and dime you to death. it's going to $50 and $100 you to death once it's out of warranty.

The Tahoe's been good to you, don't let her go.
