I have the same problem but only sometimes I have changed the injector wires on 2 and 7 it works better. A friend of mine works on diesel he put a scaner on it and fuel psi is good We cleaned all the injector wire conention and it stop for a bit we also bent the clips for better conention and put grease in it but it always comes back I just don't care anymore

The LLy idle surge was not related to the 2 & 7 connectors or the harness rub through. GM had a reflash that was supposed to correct that. At least it worked on my '05. I would think the reflash is still available and if you are on good terms with a dealer you probably can get them to do it free/cheap.

If your flash is good and your harness looks good it may be your Fuel pressure regulator. Thats whats the problem was on my 04

x2 on the FPR. My brother had the same symptoms on his LLY, and that was the problem.
