I always thought the 6.9 looked like a really good platform to build some serious power on, you've got yours running very nicely. As far as the nay-sayers go, well, if it weren't for people pulling their heads out of the sand (or whatever other dark place it might be in), we would not have these old IDI's running the way we do. The fact that you can build a reliable truck that is quick, and tows good without having to compromise with a a gas 460/454 that gets 8mpg is really something to get excited about. The fact that you can do it without breaking the bank and not have a truck payment, -well, that's just the icing on the cake.
