Yep, then you'll get Emissions Test as well.

Just about every truck up in NY has commercial plates. Its based on the weight, not what you're doing with it. I had them on both my trucks and I never got emissions test.

I found the Trick though. The DMV Issues the Plates based on the Weight that's on the Title. If it's UNDER 5500lbs, you can get Passenger Plates. I Looked on my Title, 5490lbs. :thumbsup:

in ny diesel are only safety inspection. and over 8001gvw. gas and under 8000gvw safety and emissions. i should know im certified to do nys inspections. my truck passes every year......... hmmmm

A BIG MPG Increase.

I thought it was a gallon of diesel for the regen? And the regen took place approx. every tank full?
Maybe not, read that some where. I will probably find out soon enough as I am looking to step up to a new 09 here soon, if I sell my truck....

well......with the dpf and the edge evolution my truck went into regen 4 times between syracuse, ny and washington, dc with an empty trailer....and 7 times on the way back with a loaded trailer...fuel millage tanks during regen....I haven't run a full tank through the truck since the dpf delete...but so far the results are promising
