So here is what it looked like first......

Then I did the HID conversion....

Now I got it back from the body shop yesterday and here is the next step.... What do you think? Shaved all the emblem, blacked out the taillights, smoked the headlights and added the hood.....

Holy hell that hood looks good. I also like how the back looks with the tail lights blacked out. Now all it needs back there is for you to black chrome the stock bumper. :D
 
As for the Grille, RBP is sending me the RX Rivet Black grille for it, so the chrome is going bye bye

I installed my Edge tuner tonight.... that little monitor is hella cool... LMAO.... I can monitor things I didn't know I had to monitor....like alcohol content in the fuel, barometric pressure and ambiant temperature...LOL... I can also do 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times.... its also nice because I can see my actual speed on it too
 
LMAO!!!! Yeah I was wondering the same thing.... I have 87 octane in it now and to run level 4 it says 91 octane or higher so I need to drain my gas tank and refill before I bump it up for the power... But Im not expecting much since its a gasser
 
can you change the color of that edge evo display?

I know my attitude was a greenish blue tint...that orange doesn't match the gauge cluster...
 
I still gotta play around with it.... I havent learned all the functions yet, nor have I pulled it out of economy mode...but my govenor is set at 130 now...LOL
 
I really like that hood Bill. Are there as many levels on that Edge for the gassers as there are for the diesels? I can't wait to see how it looks with the new wheels and tires. A black chrome grille would really look sweet. Nice job on the whole project.
 
I cant wait to get it done... its driving me nutz... LOL.... and the edge tuner has 4 levels 1 being tranny only, 2 being economy, 3 being towing, and 4 being extreme... I still havent gotten out of economy...lol..... as for the hood, I looked around for about 2 weeks at every hood available and I couldn't find one that was better... I like it a lot...


and pep.... I changed it back to blue tonight so it matches the gauges...lol

If you can, take a pic of the edge and gauges in blue at night. I bet it's pretty sweet looking.
 
It looks like someone has fallen in love with GM's ability to be accesorized, and it's ability to look better than any other modded truck out there. Those bumpers still look kinda small though
 
geez bigblock... give me time here... The IRON BULL BUMPERS will be installed here next week probably. They are here I just need to get the coated and installed... waiting for the lift to be on...


I will take some pics tonight when it get dark of the gauges and the edge....
 
Is it just me or does the hood look like it's not lined up right with the fender??
I like it. I'd love to put a hood like that on my truck! Looks like it's going great and your having a blast with it! Rock on!
