I am thinking about going with some Hummer rims and tires when it comes time for new tires on my truck (about 6 months ago!). I am trying to get a picture of how they will fit and look, sooo..

for any of you guys with the hummer rims could you tell me dimensions on them (width, backspace, so on), and if you were able to runs the 315/75s or what tire size you are running.

Thanks!

I will try to find pics. I had 265/17's on mine. Looked friggin great with the stock hubcaps.

Check my photo album. I'm running 285-70/17 BFG's
Sorry, I do not know how to move them here.
Here ya go Travis

Thanks Mike!
I get a lot of compliments on them. They are few and far between around here. I'm glad I got the chrome ones, they are easy to clean and keep clean.

Maybe a little too late?:

305/70 shorter but the same width...roughly a 34x12.5. Needed a slight torsion tweak to clear certain parts.

I was bouncing back and forth between the 305s and 315s, but if you can clear the 305s with under 2" I should be able fit the 315's with my 3"

Well, I finally sucked it up and went and bought a set this weekend.

I found a set not too far from me with junk and tires and another guy with a set of just tires, so I did some running around, and bought them all yesterday.
$800 for the whole thing, the rims are really nice and the BFGs have under 10,000 miles on them!

Here's a couple pictures, the first one is what they will look like when they are all done.

Thanks all for your advice, and pictures!

Good for you Matt!

Make sure you show us the pics when it's all done. So are the tires any bigger than the 33's you have on now?

They are under an inch taller and about 3/4" wider than the 33's, but since the rims are 1.5 inches narrower then the old ones, I shouldn't have any problems with rubbing.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Welcome striker76, nice rig........Looks like your going to make a trip to the scale with all that metal/aluminum in the bed.

Whole truck might be headed to the scrap yard if i don't get it figured out soon.
