I thought 6.2 and 6.5 precups interchanged in the heads with zero fuss for the 6.2/6.5 hybrid engines. Scratch that off the to do list - change heads instead or machine out 6.2 cups for the rare 6.2 heads that get turbo'd.

I've got some T's and diamonds I can pass a mic over. I'll report back.

On swappability, I do know the '82 J 6.2 cups have the alignment tang on the opposite side compared to the 6.5 and later 6.2's.

I remember this threw a monkey wrench into my plans on the current bullet I run. Had to mill the N/A cups to turbo spec.
