how much would new precups be worth?

So I found these pics with dimension in an online catalog. Was wondering if they're accurate? If so the 6.2 cup is slightly bigger than the 6.5 one. I'm wondering if that's why some drive in/out and some are loose. I'm also wondering if these dimensions are accurate. Anybody have some lying around they would care to measure.

Never had a reason to mess with pre cups until now (maybe). Just got a long block GEP, Les do you think the cups from my 96 6.5 turbo engine will swap out if my GEP is a N/A cup?

I just swapped Diamond pre cups into my 93 6.2l heads. When I went to put them in one and just one was loose. With the head upside down it would drop in the socket and it had no movement side and did require slight pressure to install. As soon as I turned the head over it would fall out a couple seconds after I picked the head up. Removed all the diamonds and I tried all the 6.2 cups into the socket in question and guess what only one fit that hole. I noticed on the cups on the side there were markings and if I remember they were slightly different. I wondered if when GM machined the cup sockets to account for tool wear or tolerances maybe they had a range of cup sizes ( like maybe a 64th bigger or smaller than standard ) at the plant to account for this. 6.2 turbo suggested using Indian Shellac to glue the one loose one in to allow the head to assembled. Seemed to work fine and seemed like a better idea than buying sets of pre cups until I found that would fit.

The ones I just swapped were my first experience with them and I was surprised to find one cup slightly bigger than the rest from the factory. I thought they were all the same size too.

I've had one laying around for visual reference. It's an odd one being that it has two squares on the left side and big "T" on the right.

Pre-Cup T.jpg

Measures 39.66 across the face, 22.06 in depth and 34/46 across the bottom.
