HID's: I'm now a believer..

aren't yours Panasonic's from Hidgate on E-bay Nick? None of his I see have a brand on them.

What vendor did you get yours from Kevin?

How do they work with your stock GMC housings? I've heard that the HIDs don't work as well with the GMC housings, that's really the only reason I don't have them yet.
that's what I hear as well...I'm looking for some true Denali projector housings...

To me they look fine. The one thing that's missing is the straight razor line of light. To me, it's just like the halogens except a lot brighter. I'll try to take some pics...

Someone get with Yaz here. He's running GM Denali projector lenses. Assuming thats the look the GMC guys are after. Fox, your HID's will work fine with the GMC lenses. They just use a different type of lense, thats all. Had I kept my GMC, they woulda ended up with Denali projectors. I think those look awesome.

JD, thats what they said on the sides of the ballasts.

I need to get with Yaz on some Wii games...and denali projectors

Denali uses 9005 Bulb for the Low Beams. Sierra uses 9006, so you'll have to get new Bulbs if you make the switch.

I think DDM has Panasonic ballast. I can't seem to find any that are just Panasonic.

I posted this over on the "other place" so I figured I'd bring the Knowledge over here as well....

This is for the DDM / Apexcone stuff, because I know their product VERY well....If you get the 35w Kit and want the Brightest Output possible, get the 4500k. If you get the 35w Kit and want some Color, get the 5000k Kit. The 6000k will be Purple-ish and might be too much Color for some people...If you get the 55w Kit and want the Brightest output get the 4500k Kit...BUT due to the fact it is being driven with 55w now, it will appear slightly Yellow-ish, kinda like Halogen Color. So if you want the "35w 4500k Color", but want 55w Ballasts, I suggest getting the 5000k Kit. If you want some Color, get the 6000k Kit. It will still have some Purple in it, but no where near as much as it would if it was being driven at 35w. If you get the 55w Kit you MUST get the Upgraded Harness for EACH Kit you order (1 Kit, 1 Harness / 2 Kits, 2 Harnesses). It's not needed with the 35w Kits, but it will help.

Hmm. Interesting. Retro said I didn't need the harness as his units only need 6 amps to fire off. I have then connected to my Fisher plow wiring and they have been fine.

Here's some pics...

This is on the road hid lows only(sorry about the pic quality)..
