Hi guys I have a 97 k2500 I am wondering about fuel pressure I connected a fuel pressure gauge to the t and turned the key on I have 6.5lbs on the gauge. Then turn the key off the presure starts dropping right away dont fi this is normal

Pretty much good.

The pressure bleeds off through the Injection pump.

The pressure you are seeing is just the lift pump pressure.
This assures the IP of a good supply of fuel.

6.5psi is really good for a stock LP, but still not what Stanadyne calls for. They say a DS4 needs to have 9psi min. Truck will run better with 9-13psi too.
