i cant find the post that showed adjusting the fuel screw through the top of ip. i cant get to the side plate with the van manifolds.

also is there a way for me to save specific threads as a quick reference?

You should be able to "Bookmark" that thread.
 
Can you walk through a bookmark? I am computer illiterate.

Then just plain stupid half the time on top of that! Proof being I had engine out, ip on a table, didn't do ftb or turn up fuel screw while easy to reach everything.
 
I use FireFox, at the top of my screen are the words: File, Edit, History, Bookmarks, Tools and Help, just click on bookmarks, then on the drop box that comes up will be "Bookmark this page". Click on that, then when you want to retrieve it just hit the Bookmark again and look for the page in the drop box.
 
Thanks for the tips. I have to admit I gave up and asked a local expert, my 13 year old son. I seem to recall making fun of my Dad for not understanding CDs when they first came out. Ugg!

Adjusted fuel screw in the ip. WOW my truck is alive finally. Thanks to all on this site your help and library full of info.
 
1/2 turn, I went from n/a to turbo (gm6). What a difference. Next is 4" from turbo back. I can't wait to see how it does on the freeway. This is my dd and the last job was 30 miles one way.
My only concern is when I started this project I didn't realize thes turbos are not happy above 2200 rpm, and my cruise is about 3000 rpm.
The high rpm and less airflow through radiator is why hummers/hmmwv s are so hard on these engines. I built a hood scoop on mine for speeds above 55 to force air through cooling stack (aerodynamics makes a pocket that stops airflow above 60 from entering). Huge difference. I have to cross my fingers on EGT's...
