Help needed on long island

Good Deal!......problem was FSOS, correct?

Problem was two fold.....somehow the nuts holding the injection pump backed off completely and the pump of course went out of timing AND the fuel shut off solenoid went south....I see no logical reason for both to happen at the exact same time except that when the pump loosened up maybe the excessive vibrating/movement of the pump somehow caused the solenoid to crap out....I'm guessing the solenoid was getting very weak/going bad anyhow....but I don't think I'll ever know for sure.....lol
Thanks for all the replies!
Tom

On a side note.....the metal cover/ body of the solenoid was loose as though it was either hitting against something or someone previously used it to turn the pump while setting timing.....never seen that before....but the more that I think about it the more I think it was all caused by the person who replaced the IP just before I bought the truck...got too lazy to properly tighten ALL the nuts on the pump and probably used the FSOS as a "handle" when setting the timing......so the demise of it was already in the cards....
