1995 6.5 Please take the time to read the whole thing. It is only so long cause I did some diagnostic work to try to narrow it down for you guys.
I started the truck first time in the morning....she chugged a little and stalled like having trouble getting enough fuel. No problems before except too long cranking time for my preference. Outside temp about 40*. Started right back up..revved it a little and it smoothed out. checked the pressure at t handle and got nothing..turned off truck and took out fuel pump relay fuse in underhood box and tried to jumper the lift pump to test if it was working because about 5 months ago it went bad, but I must have touched the wrong contact because it sparked and the jumper got super hot....and now i have no wait to start light, engine cranks and cranks but wont fire up cause no glow plugs.......every fuse contact in underhood fuse box is reading 12+ volts except for the one i messed with is now only getting 8 to 8.5 volts.....wondering what i melted or fried or damaged...what supplies voltage to that fuse?
I am getting 12 volts on the red stud of the glow plug controller but nothing at all from second stud...all grounds i can find are reading no ohms....all glow plugs reading no ohms....seems like i am getting 12 volts to the harness on top of the glow plug controller and ignition voltage and less than 2 ohms resistance as well...... Also now i am getting no diagnostic codes...i was currently running a vacuum code for a broken orange and black tubes to wastegate solenoid but now when i paperclip the pins A and B i get no service engine light flashing at all. All of the other dash lights seem to be working.
where does the wait to start come from? any ideas? i was suspecting a bad glow plug controller until i saw that there are no obd 1 codes now i am wondering if i damaged the computer?

- What were you doing when it happened? __Started the truck....she chugged a little and stalled like when lift pump went bad. Outside temp about 40.
