I'm coming here from the Direct injection diesel world. I had a 7.3 PSD I sold and I bought a 6.5. I know nothing about the IDI motor or mechanical pump. A whole new world to me and I'm coming here to learn more about it.

Thanks guys its a 95 chevy 2500 ext cab 6.5 with a rough country lift 35" tires full exhaust from the down pipes back to muffler to a single stack. I bought it from a second owner he gave me every service slip for the truck from the original owner. I bought it already lifted and with the exhaust it has 200k on it. Only thing I've done to it so far was put an original air intake on it and sorry no pictures except a bad one at the moment it's at the body shop since there was new doors and fenders put on it. I'm getting it painted to match the original color. Also see I already learned something new I thought it was a mechanical pump because of how loud the motor is compared to a direct injection. Also I have a pmd relocation kit on the truck but it was just ziptied to the fender.
