Hi. I'm a newby. A couple of weeks ago I purchased a 1993 C3500 crewcab dually with a 6.5 turbo, mechanical pump, and 4L80 transmission. The truck has 141,000 miles. Engine was replaced by GM under warranty at around 100,000. I have already found the forum to be a wealth of information. I resoldered the teminals on the circuit board in the wiper motor and replaced the hose and gasket on the turbo oil return line. Thanks for all of the great information!!

Welcome to The Truck Stop!! You'll find yourself elbow deep in 6.5 knowledge here. Some of the best guys to get info on that engine call this place home.

Yep this is the best forum for your truck. Search is your friend then ask for clarification and extra help if needed. Most all of the bugs of the 6.5 are well documented. And they guys can chime in on lots of useful knowledge in some of the other areas of the forum.

Sure thing plus there is another newbie on here from New Bern NC. We r tryin to outnumber the CT boys. U know Ace I actually have a campground here 4 my buddies. It has 40 amp electric hookups and water 4 campers with a dump station and a shower house and bathrooms and a $35000 outdoor cookshack for folks to use. Its free, just leave a donation in the jar and call in advance, I am about 16 miles off Interstate 95. Woner if I should start a thread on this. we also have 6.5 miles of horse riding trails and are 2 miles from the Lumber River State Park.
