hello all im new to this site my name is brandon

Welcome Brandon

IIRC there is a metal flap or something that can rattle on these turbos. The turbo drain can leak.

If the turbo shaft has play, it will damage the oil seal and let it leak down from there if it's not all leaking into the exhaust pipe.

The leak could also be coming from a valve cover. Best thing to do is clean off the engine real good and try to watch where the leak stars from again.

Damn i love this place im not the brightest wrench turner out there but i do have my knowledge but yall r awesome and full of info

Cool deal yeah i got this truck for 1500 lol but its costing me an arm and a leg right now the guy i got it from was oh man runs great i had to pull it to get it started

A lot of people want the crew cab mechanical IP truck. I made my 96 that way.
If yours has a red interior then is worth more :)

You just got it, so be patient. It might cost a little to get it rolling good, but these trucks a very low cost long term. You'll get your money back if you stick it out.
