Anyone have a diagram of what bolts go where on the intake manifold?

The long bolts go in the center where the manifold is thick. IMO only worry about studs where things bolt on like alternator bracket and flat head bolts on the very ends. I haven't run IP line dampers because I pull the manifold so often so I am not any real help. Pictures from your other ride/spare engine can/will help. Text a pic...

Toward the end a 6.2 NA engine is shown and perhaps there is a 6.5 in there. http://www.thetruckstop.us/forum/th...-repair-manual-6-2-l-and-6-5-l-diesels.25481/

Those line dampers keepmthe lines from cracking at the injector nut/ IP nut locations. At least a piece of rubber and cable tie them together.

Let's hear that 6.5 California girl running today!?!
Yeah, I know. My pool keeps calling me too- frigin heat sux.

I left it with IP installed, lower intake gaskets in place. Didn't want to mess with installing the lower manifold. I've cracked them before when an errant wiring harness got under it. If I am motivated, maybe an evening this week, or I have Friday off.

So I f'd off and spent a long weekend at our place in Big Bear Lake. Sorta avoidance behaviour, but we came down on the 4th so I could finish work on the truck. I got everything back together with some issues. The plug receptacle on the coolant temp sender had broken off, so I installed a new one. Go to inset the male plug end and that also sheared off and I had to order a new one. Only option on Rockauto was a sender and plug from Airtex Wells, so I'll end up with a spare sender. As I type this, just remembered that I forgot to reinstall the oil fill tube. I'll complete and try to light it on Friday.
