Guess who's baaaccckkkkk.....

Gave it a real fast look. Know the drivers door is rusty. Bed "looked ok" but i wasn't under the truck really, Basically I had to make a split second desicion since another buyer was there as well. I'll check it out tonight. It has not been a good day so far. I got f'in DOT'd and out of service with one of my Large Cars..:mad2:
Luckily no fines.

uh oh....did we get red flagged?? the dot is a royal PITA. If they want to, they can get you for something. And as soon as you think you know all the laws and rules, they pull another one out of their ass to nail you.

Now i realize their concern is safety, but boy does it get annoying, and expensive.

As for your new ride....nice score. I like the color too....same as my 96' was before the previous owner repainted it white :rolleyes5:

You know I hate to say this but Mom's PS towed awesome. it was damn hot today and the temp gauge never moved at all. Too bad I need back surgery now from the ride. what a horrible riding truck.

I told you I would have given you a hand towing your new truck back if you needed it. That woulda been a sight, that looks like same color as mine

It was in Rhode Island and I had to get there fast. I probably passed Matt on the way going through Worcester, Ma. If I had been 10 mins late I think I would have seen the taillights of it driving away(well towed away, no brakes) I did the guy a favor who was also looking to buy it. His so called Mechanic buddy didn't have the first clue what he was looking at.I could find 5 major things wrong without even putting a key in it.
PMD on IP
Oil cooler lines
Major fuel leak
Brake lines
blow by
trans leak.
His "mechanic" only saw brake line.

Great news Kenny!!!! I was stuck working in Watertown (next to boston) I hate going out that far... Damn MassPike nails me 4.00 for a 20 mile ride from 495 to end of tolls..... WTF.... Because I have dual wheels.... WTF.... I'm actually doing less wear and tear on the road because of weight dispursement.... WTF... Just got home at 9:30pm, left house at 5:30am... Feast or Famine. I'm glad I have work.

ANyhow!! Great score bro!!! Damn you for OBD1! Your our only hope for the big timing get together, nobody else around here has pockets anywhere near as deep as yours!

nobody else around here has pockets anywhere near as deep as yours!

Make no mistake, My pockets are not deep, I'm just stupid. It's an addiction like drugs or alchohol. I'm like Mel Gibson in Conspiracy Theory when he see's a catcher in the rye he has to buy it because he's crazy...When I see a GM diesel....

Although given my 19k mistake...I was due for a break. win some lose some. The 94 will probably be an awesome truck. I jinxed myself by selling all my spare parts.

I fixed two brake lines tonight and drove it. It seems to run nice. Alt may be bad and not sure about coolant temp as dash gauge didn't match GMTDScan. Here's the snapshot after a 10 min drive.

Truck sounds a little marlby/metallic at idle like timing is off or when they are airbound a little but timing didn't look that bad in GMTDScan. It's within spec although I'll get it a little better.
