This is a 1973 Duster with a 451 low deck stroker. 4 3/8 bore x 3 3/4 stroke using a low deck block.Stage 6 aluminum heads from ma Mopar. The car weighs in @ 3180 and ran a 1 time only(timed) at 11.83 @ 116 mph on street t/a drag radials and a pinion snubber that was not tight enough. With a TCI Streetfighter trans and matching stall conv.Fuel is Barry Grant HR 220 bypass return system. I feel the car would run much quicker with a 4:11 or 3:91.Presently running 4
:56,she was out of rpms at 1/2 track,as I had the rev limiter set at 6400.The exhaust now exits the rear.My son is getting ready for a party before pics.He could fasten a 4 point race harness at 4 yrs old......

Thanks. problem is..its not diesel.I have been slowly switching my fleet over to diesel, and now infatuated with them. This motor makes about 530 ft lbs.For what it costs to get it,you can buy a p pumped Cummins truck and make that much power in bout 1/2 hr and still get 20 mpg.Diesel never stops amazing me.The military 6x6 in my sig, aerodynamic as my garage with 6.77 gears and full time ft diff(it unlocks at the transfer with an air sprag) 472 c.i.d. weighing 14K lbs can get 7-9 mpg @ 55 mph.

We are getting ready for the next project.1972 Monte Carlo.Triple black,31k orig miles.Paint is checkered from age.My mom bought it new in 72,parked in heated garage since 1975.I am considering baking soda blast for paint strip, but have not met with the vendor yet(for demo) we are leaving this one completely stock.
