So, how was the vacation?

It was very nice. We went to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
We only spent one day in Malaysia in the city of Kuala Lumpur (the capitol). The big attraction was the Petronas Towers




After that back to Singapore for a few more days then off to Thailand.
I had the most fun there. We spent all our time on P H U K E T island and made day trips to other islands from there. The most famous being "James Bond" island were they filmed Man with the golden gun. The people are very friendly. We spent most of the time just being beach bums.

In singapore it was cheap for us as we stayed with family so no hotel and eating local foods. Not in the tourist traps. In Thailand we did very good spending about $70 a day including room on the beach.

Great pictures...Never been to that part of the world...Now I would love to.

The worst thing is the jet lag and time difference. The flight takes 24 hours in the air not including lay overs. We had only a 1.5 hr lay over in Moscow so the trip was like 26 hours. Singapore is 14 hours ahead of me in cetral time zone.
