Going 50mph....then nothing.

High fluid is transmission output seal leaking. Idk what exact problems that causes,or how fast. I am not good with transmissions or transfer cases.
 
The seal itself is actually on the front of the transfer case between the trans and transfer case. Keep an eye on the trans oil level and drain the case now and then. Worst that can happen is oil blows out the vent and causes a fire. Or trans runs low and gets ruined...

Assuming you don't want to drop the transfer case and replace the seal...
