GMTDScan Tech connecting problems.

Win2k didn't work either, I sent the folks over at aldlcable, which is where I bought the cable from, an email.
I've even tried using hyperterminal like their instruction say but I get nothing, I'm beginning to suspect the cable it's self.
I've been using computers since the C64 (Commodore) even built a few systems over the years so I know how to.
Getting bummed I can't even check out my truck. :(

It could be. When I got CarCode I couldn't connect either. The company was sure it wasn't the cable, I sent it back and sure enough it was.

One more test to run, make a Windows 98 boot CD, beings that's the minimum system requirements for GMTDScan Tech, and see if it works
By Monday I will have used my brothers Vista and the womans XP, if they all fail the cable is going back.

Thats the drivers I have.
In my search I found a few ways to make a cable for cheap. I bought 2 of them. Will test them when they show up and if they work that will tell me the cable I paid too much for is junk.
