Got out and plugged in the pick up and after warm up got Des. 8.5, Act. 8.5 and TDCO 1.34. Ran the TDCO learn and got Des. 8.5 Act. 8.8 TDCO -1.73. I'll have to get the tools to move that IP soon but for now it's ok. Fuel rate was at 8.x mm3 before and now is at 10.3mm3. Is there a way to change that fuel rate or is that locked into that crappy Hypertech chip I have? Plan on a good chip when money allows, but for now has to do.

John

I think the change in your fuel rate is just the AC compressor either on or off. Turn the fan to off when taking that reading so there is no interference. 8-10 mm3 is OK. Most optic bumps are below 6 mm3.

Nope. The A/C and heater was in the off position. It was warm for the first time in many months today/ this morning. That was the motor warm and everything off. I did notice that while driving today that just cruising around town that the EGT's were elevated. Normal is around 350 at 30mph and today it was in the 450 range. Taking off from stop signs it would jump up to 600 plus very easy. ECT's were up a tick or two on the gauge as well. When I checked the ECT during the TDCO the guage read at the normal mark(180* therm and was at the heavy tick between 210* and the lower) but the scan read 79.somethingorother*. Wonder if that could make a diff?

Yes, when the software comes to you, you can download it to a CD or flash drive or your hard drive.
Important: Keep the "key" that is emailed to you incase you need to reload it again later. I will not have copies if you lose it.

I lost mine and Steph sent me another no charge anyway. I wish he'd get off his arse and write a similar program for OBD2. GMTDScan works so good it makes me want to own nothing but OBD1's. What a great program.
