Gm service part numbers for pcm and prom

Hi all i am new here and i am looking for technical info on pcm and
prom service part numbers and prom/pcm history i want to see if my pcm and prom are the latest software and hardware versions i would like to see what kind of problems were found and what changes were made to correct the problems i am going to do some service work my ip is bad and i am changing the injectors, 229 k miles this is the first real problem i have had

PCM numbers from oldest to newest: 16199980,16183977,88961136
No info on what was changed

There are several PROMs listed (all discontinued), again oldest to newest numbers:

16244854 stamped 0152bmsd,3420bkwj,6852bjax,7125bpbn,bxrf1624

16206462,16210226,16217100,16244897 stamped 4897bxrw,0227bmsy, replacement only with inj pump 10225929/10225930 and trans code 4lap,4lbp,4lfp

16244900 stamped 4900bxrx,bpdn,bmxz,bjau, with trans code 4lap,4lbp,4lyp

16244877 with trans code 4hap,4hcp,4bup and 10225930 inj pump

Some of these were changed for transmission issues IIRC
 
BMRP was released in May 1994, and was superceded by BXRL in June 1996. There were cold shifting issues they corrected.

I can answer about any specific question you have, and I could probably get you a decent updated chip if you like.
