My 97 chevy k2500hd has a leaky hydroboost where the front and rear of the body bolt together it has a brand new master and all new ps lines and new ps pump( and its leaking ps fluid and not brake fluid ).Im looking for a rebuild kit which I heard can be had, if anyone knows where to get it and a part number and how hard it is to do to anyone that did this before.I found a gasket on rock auto but it doesnt say if its a gasket for a vac booster or the hydro just says booster mounted on firewall so not sure what this gasket might be and if it may help me or not.

ACDELCO Part # 15960241 GM Original Equipment
USE TOGETHER WITH BOOS MTD ON FIREWALL

Please let me know ,thanks....Anthony

Somebody tear one apart and re-seal it.. Gotta do one on my '93. She has developed a taste for PS juice.

Won't be awhile for me, I'm a busy college student that's been putting it off for months now  My truck leaves a nice big puddle wherever it sits but I just keep filling it. I'd love to see a DIY thread on rebuilding the unit, maybe around fall break when I'm home and have time I'll do it and take some pics.

Are these hydroboosters all the same?? I have an '84 Blazer & pu & suburban <-last 2 for parts. Are they the same for blazers, pu's, subs? Dont need one now, just wondering. -c-
